Alternative to Chinese Brands in Electronics Category

Introduction

China sales low cost option for almost every product in India. China has complete monopoly in almost every electronic product in India and in many cases world wide. India's imports from China is highest among imports from all countries (317 billion INR out of 1913.24 billion INR = 16% Ref: tradingeconomics). Electronics category accounts for 11% of overall exports.

China is world no. 1 in terms of net export (worth of exported goods - worth of imported goods). India on the other hand has negative (-127,500 USD) net export, which is among the bottom 3 among all the countries (Ref: List_of_countries_by_net_exports). One of the ways to eliminate Unemployment, poverty and border disputes is by making our country less dependent on other countries. More importantly if we can eliminate monopoly of Chinese products, it would be strengthen and prepare India against any potential disputes with China.

China GDP in 2018 is 13.6 Trillion Dollars and India's GDP is 2.7 Trillion Dollars as per world bank data i.e. China's GDP is almost 6 times of India's GDP. We have long way to go to be able to stand in front of countries like US and China.
